Arizona Association for Economic Development to Hold ‘Policy Impact’ Dinner

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will hold its second Policy Impact dinner, Jan. 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Arizona Science Center, 600 E. Washington St. in Phoenix.

            The event will celebrate the policies, best practices and champions of economic development.  The evening will also include a silent auction along with recognition and the presentation of awards to members of the Arizona State Senate and House of Representatives who have had a positive impact on economic development issues across the state.

            “Last year was the first time we recognized our elected economic development advocates at a dinner,” said Joyce Grossman, AAED’s executive director.  “It was such an effective way for economic development professionals and others within the industry to discuss important issues with their elected officials that the AAED Government Affairs committee has decided to make it an annual event.”
