Annual Wine Tasting Brings Together the Best of Arizona

It will be a fun weekend for wine lovers in Flagstaff. The Arboretum at Flagstaff is hosting its annual wine tasting fundraiser, Wine in the Woods: AZ Style, on Sunday, September 10 from 1-5 p.m.

The public is invited to come celebrate this showcase of everything Arizona, including local wineries and restaurants as well as The Sugar Thieves, Arizona’s very own blues band. Enjoy it all among the gorgeous gardens at The Arboretum, with all proceeds benefitting the 200-acre hidden gem in the mountains of Northern Arizona.

Attendees can wine and dine with wineries and food vendors including Fire Mountain Winery, Pillsbury Wine Company, SW Wine Center, Page Springs Cellars, Gallifant Cellars, Keeling Schaefer Vineyards, Criollo Latin Kitchen, Silver Pine Restaurant, Shift Kitchen and Bar, Desirable Desserts and Sprouts.

Tickets are $35 in advance for general public, $30 for Arboretum members, and $50 on the day of. Tickets include admission to the Arboretum, a souvenir wine glass and 10 wine tasting tickets. Shuttle service will be provided to the event from the W.L. Gore parking lot on Kiltie Lane.

This event benefits the youth and adult education programs at The Arboretum at Flagstaff as well as the creation and maintenance of the gardens, which is home to 750 species of plants. To purchase tickets, and for more information, visit
