Overview
For those of you who are chocolate fans, this event is for you. Come out to one of Glendale’s premier events – The Chocolate Experience!!! What is it? What takes place there? Answers to those questions plus event details are in this blog. Keep reading.
Where and When Will This Be Held?
It takes place at the Glendale Civic Center in a couple of weeks. Day one is on Saturday, February 8th from 10 AM until 5 PM. Day two is on Sunday, February 9th from noon until 5 PM. Parking and admission will both be free. Start making your plans now.
What Will Happen There?
Chocolatiers and confectioners will abound at this event. Much to the dismay of your dentist, you will be able to eat chocolate and other sweet treats to your heart’s content. This is the primary purpose of the event. Additionally, you shall find arts and crafts vendors, chocolates being paired with wines (that part is for adults only) and live music throughout both days. The live music can be found on the fountain terrace and is quite entertaining. There will also be equally-entertaining other types of artistic performances taking place.
Other Attractions
Another fun thing to do here is to visit the booth where you can make chocolate pizzas. Instructors will assist in this activity. If all of this is not enough activity for you, climb on board the free shuttles and take a tour of the Cerreta Candy Company. Plus wander through the charming shops, dine in style, and experience all the history that downtown Glendale has to offer.
The Sole Age-Restricted Portion of This Event
All parts of the two-day festivities are open to the whole family with the exception of the wine-paring parts. For that participants must be at least 21 years of age, which of course is Arizona’s legal drinking age. Proof of that is required. Other than that, the various aspects of The Chocolate Experience are tailor-made for families.
