49 Pets Removed From Phoenix Boarding Facility
Dozens of cats and dogs were removed from a Valley boarding facility this week. 32 dogs and 13 cats are now recuperating at the Arizona Humane Society.
While the facility has not yet been identified, AHS officials say it took Emergency Animal Medical Technicians several hours to remove the animals. There were 36 dogs initially, but two had to be humanely put to sleep and two more have since passed away. AHS will examine the two dogs that passed away to determine their exact cause of death.

Staff at AHS’ trauma hospital are closely monitoring the remaining animals as the investigation continues.
