The holidays bring a myriad of emotional challenges for everyone, and even more so in these days of COVID-19. But what about children in foster care? The holiday season evokes so many feelings of doubt, insecurity, and uncertainty with being separated from their biological family, new traditions and not knowing if they’ll have a present to unwrap.
Arizona Helping Hands is bringing foster kids hope for the holidays with its 22nd annual Fill Santa’s Sleigh holiday toy drive on Tuesday, December 8th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at its facility in Phoenix.
To ensure social distancing, this year’s event will be a festive drive-thru for the whole family that includes Santa, lights and holiday entertainment. Guests can bring unwrapped children’s toys to donate and help bring joy to kids in foster care statewide. The event is free and open to the public.
Bring your donation of unwrapped children’s toys and help Arizona Helping Hands fill Santa’s Sleigh as they continue to bring Hope for the Holidays.
