Price Land Development Group Prepares Parcel for Nation’s Largest Homebuilder

 

Real estate investment and development company Mariposa East, LP, an affiliate of Harvard Investments, Inc. is proud to announce D.R. Horton Inc. will soon begin construction on Mariposa’s Jemez Vista neighborhood. This premium 10-acre neighborhood includes 41 homes within the Mariposa master-planned community outside Rio Rancho, New Mexico and 30 minutes north of Albuquerque.

The 10-acre Jemez Vista neighborhood includes 41 one- and two-story homes as part of the larger 6,500-acre Mariposa master-planned community. Jemez Vista will be D.R. Horton’s second offering at Mariposa which currently has homes available in The Peaks neighborhood.

 

D.R. Horton purchased Jemez Vista from Price Land Development Group, Inc. (PLDG), a consultancy and development company specializing in acquisition, entitlement and development of residential communities and residential/mixed-use master plans in New Mexico. PLDG secured entitlement and engineering approvals for the development through the City of Rio Rancho planning process. PLDG is also providing construction management services to D.R. Horton for development of the property.

Mariposa, just outside picturesque Rio Rancho, New Mexico, includes a large portion that will never be developed. The Mariposa Preserve, owned by The Albuquerque Academy, and consisting of 2,200 acres of dedicated open space within the heart of Mariposa, is protected in perpetuity.
