This summer, U.S. Egg Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant is giving nutrition-conscious Arizona consumers a healthy and tasty way to support a local business, stay fit and even achieve new fitness goals with their newly introduced Protein Pancake Bars, created by Chef Mario Gebran and inspired by the eatery’s fan-favorite protein pancakes.
The pancakes have been a staple at the family-owned and operated restaurant for more than three decades thanks to their secret family recipe that gives them their signature nutty, blueberry flavor that’s replicated in the bars, which are made with blueberries, almonds, cinnamon and U.S. Egg’s high-protein granola.
“My brother, Chef Mario Gebran, developed the protein pancakes recipe and it has been our most popular entrée from the start,” said George Gebran, owner of U.S. Egg. “Now with a bar option, it is even easier for our guests to enjoy this U.S. Egg favorite wherever they go.”
The compact, nutrient-rich protein bar will make eating healthy even easier this summer, offering a hearty snack or meal replacement that’s ready to go wherever you are. Customers can also rest easy knowing the bars are freshly baked with high-quality ingredients and individually packaged every morning, and can remain shelf-stable for up to six months.
Each Protein Pancake Bar provides 20 grams of muscle-boosting protein with only five grams of sugar, is high-fiber and is compatible with many popular, healthful diets, including gluten-free keto and paleo. They also do not contain any harmful ingredients and are made without any artificial colors or flavors.
The bars launched earlier this year in response to the protein pancakes’ popularity and are now available daily at all six U.S. Egg locations across the Valley in Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix and Chandler. Each bar retails at $3 each.
