PHOENIX, AZ- (July 23, 2020) – Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley has announced they will open Clubs during school hours. Clubs will remain open for distance learning and after school care until in-person school instruction can begin. Every Club is staffed with our Youth Development Professionals who can help students log on to school coursework. When students have completed their lessons, they will participate in Club programs like arts, recreation and enrichment curricula focused on their personal and academic development.

Extended program fees are just $60 – $100 per week, depending on the Club, for students ages 5-12. Teens may attend the Club for free. Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided at no additional charge. Financial aid is available for families in need.

Students must bring their school-provided computer to the Club to log into their virtual learning schoolwork. Masks/face coverings are required in the Clubs and safety measures must be followed. Starting in early August, Clubs will be open extended hours to help families during this time: 7:30am – 6:30pm.

Currently, BGCAZ has 18 Clubs open for families. To view a list of clubs, open visit our website at BGCAZ.org.
