United Food Bank Weekly Food Distribution at Mesa Convention Center — Schedule Updates

People affected with food insecurity during these uncertain times can continue to receive food assistance from the United Food Bank food distribution at the Mesa Convention Center each week. There will, however, be a few upcoming changes to the days and times.  Because of the July 4 holiday, there will not be a food distribution on Friday, July 3. Individuals and families are encouraged to come on Wednesday, July 1 between noon and 6 p.m. to receive a grocery cart of food. 

Beginning the following week of July 5, food distribution will be held on one day each week – Fridays from 7 a.m. to noon, beginning July 10. There will not be any distributions on Wednesdays after July 1. 

The location of the weekly food distribution will continue to be the Mesa Convention Center at 263 N. Center Street. Procedures for the drive thru distribution remain the same. Clients are asked to empty the trunks of their vehicles and a volunteer will load their vehicle with food. We are asking those that are not feeling well or have flu like systems to stay home.
