On March 6, as part of their “Field Trip Friday” visit to Fountain Hills, Good Morning Arizona featured Fearless Kitty Rescue.

Interviewed were co-founders Paula Stefan and Kim Kamins — each holding litter-mate kittens up for adoption at The Rescue. Both talked about the mission of the organization and their work.

Paula explained that The Rescue is supported by close to 150 volunteers and depends on donations and grants for the work that they do – saving and protecting the lives of cats and educating the public.

Paula went on to stress that all of the kitties that come to Fearless Kitty Rescue, or the kittens that are born there to a mom cat who has been rescued, are either adopted out or have a place at The Rescue until they find their forever home. Many of the kittens and cats also spend time in foster homes.

As they visited one of the “living rooms” for the cats Kim mentioned their annual “Wet Your Whiskers” event coming up May 8th. She said, “This is the biggest event of the year for us that features a wine tasting, a silent auction, raffles and more – all benefiting the kitties.” She went on say that tickets can be purchased online at www.fearlesskittyrescue.org.
