United Food Bank’s Help Yourself Food Co-op Dec. 20
United Food Bank is hosting a FREE Help Yourself Food Co-op Holiday Distribution on Friday, Dec. 20 from 8 a.m. until noon., at their south Mesa warehouse at 358 E. Javelina Ave., Mesa, AZ.
Anyone who needs food assistance can come and get fresh meat, vegetables, dairy and baked goods, along with non-perishable food items. All Help Yourself participants will receive approximately 10 pounds of fresh meat and produce, as well as many other supplemental items such as eggs, dairy, bread and vegetables. They will leave with enough food to fill a shopping cart.
The mood will be holiday festive – with Santa and elves, Cardinals cheerleaders and Big Red and other cool surprises.
