Winterfest returns with art, activities, music and Santa

Experience Tempe’s annual holiday celebration, Winterfest, on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5 -7:30 p.m. at the Tempe Community Complex. This family-friendly event will have activities to delight visitors of all ages. Join us in making holiday memories together. Here’s what your experience will include: 

·         Interactive story time

·         Live musical performances

·         Make-and-take art projects

·         Letters to Santa

·         Snow-making

·         Hot cocoa and cookie decorating 

And don’t forget your cameras to capture a visit from the jolliest old elf himself, Santa. 

When: Friday, Dec. 6, 5-7:30 p.m.

Where: Tempe Community Complex, 3340 S. Rural Road (SW corner of Southern Avenue and Rural Road) 

Tempe’s Community Services Department including Tempe Recreation, Tempe Public Library, Tempe Arts and Culture, Tempe History Museum and the Kid Zone Enrichment Program have teamed up to present great activities and attractions.
