(PHOENIX – Nov. 4, 2019) – The Parent Teacher Organization at Desert Cove Elementary School hosted a dine in night at the PDQ Paradise Valley location to raise awareness and funds for the school’s educational programs. Teachers welcomed and served food to over 100 PDQ guests during the three hour event. Receiving 20 percent of all sales that evening, the effort raised $320 and will be used towards teachers support and Library books at the school.
“For over 50 years Desert Cove has been a part of this community,” said Tya Long, vice president of Fundraising. “We pride ourselves in school spirit and providing our students with a high-quality educational experience that will last a lifetime. Our amazing teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure that we continue to offer the best education for our students. Thank you to all of our wonderful families who attended and to PDQ for letting us take over the restaurant. It was a successful night!”
