October just got a little livelier in downtown Phoenix. Live music acts are happening Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the monOrchid.
Enjoy some local flavor for FREE at this historic art gallery, located at 214 E Roosevelt St. in Phoenix in the heart of the Roosevelt Row Arts District. From classically trained musicians, enjoy Jazz to piano to stand up bass. This music series celebrates the local music scene. Enjoy a full bar on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as dinner and drinks before or after at The Dressing Room located inside monOrchid. On Sundays keep the fun going with the Build your own Juice Bar where guests can purchase their favorite spirit and juice mix. October 27—Holly Pyle + Loop/contemporary trio with Stephen Avalos and Dylan Paul Thomas
Holly Pyle weaves through as many genres as possible with her “liquid-like voice” and intense presence. Best known as the vocal-looping front-woman of progressive soul outfit House of Stairs, she also travels and sings jazz with Dmitri Matheny as well as the folk singer-songwriter collective Live from Laurel Canyon.
