September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Ericka Steinberg, a member of the Impact Gymnastics’ family in Phoenix, and a childhood cancer survivor, has chosen to Step Up. Stop Cancer. with a Flip for a Cure open gym fundraiser benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Saturday, September 28th from 4 – 6 p.m. at Impact Gymnastics Academy.
#TeamEricka was created in August 2018 to support Ericka when at the age of 15 she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ericka was treated successfully at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Ericka is in remission for the past nine months and has returned to the sport of gymnastics to happily flip on the gym floor, around the bars, over the vault, and on the beam again at Impact Gymnastics Academy in Phoenix.
Please join Ericka at Impact Gymnastics located at 7812 N 12th Street, Suite B, Phoenix, AZ 85020 to make a positive impact in the fight against childhood cancer. Impact Gymnastics is donating 100% of the $20 open gym fees and the Impact coaches are donating their time to Step Up. Stop Cancer.
Together we will beat childhood cancer!
#TeamEricka Gives Back has set a personal goal to raise $3,000. Every dollar raised makes a direct impact on patient care at Phoenix Children’s so please give whatever you can. While families are still processing the devastating news of their child’s cancer diagnosis, the specialists are already developing a personalized treatment plan with access to the most innovative clinical trials and therapies that will give their child the best chance for survival. It’s why so many families across the Southwest turn to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
