OpenWorks, a leading national facility services and commercial cleaning franchise operator, announced it has been named to the 2019 Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The company debuts with a ranking of 2,664 out of 5,000 businesses nationwide on a list that represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
“We are honored to have been included among the elite ranks of the nation’s fastest-growing companies,” said Eric Roudi, Founder and CEO of OpenWorks. “Earning this spot is a testament to the hard work of a talented team and smart, purpose-driven growth plans, which have allowed us to expand our national footprint and seize market share in the facility services and commercial cleaning space.”
OpenWorks has experienced three consecutive years of exponential growth, having doubled in size since 2016 to a total of 23 regional offices across the country. The company, which was also recently ranked on the Franchise 500 List by Entrepreneur magazine, is on track to enter new markets within the next few years and add more than 200 new franchises this year. In total, OpenWorks serves more than 2,000 customers nationwide with a retention rate of over 98% year over year.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and the ability to seize opportunities.”
Not only have the companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 been competitive within their markets, but the list shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent.
