STUFF THE BUS 2019

Stuff the Bus 2019 is turning out to be our biggest and best year yet! Our goal was to send at least 3,000 fully supplied backpacks to students for the 2019/2020 school year, and we are on track to do so!

Our first Event was Saturday, July 13th, from 10a – 2p and it was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who dropped by and donated backpacks and school supplies!

And now, this Friday, we will finish with a bang at our Studios!

WHY STUFF THE BUS?

75% or more students qualify for the free or reduced lunch program at 800+ Arizona schools, and there are over 650 Title1 schools in Maricopa County.

An education is one of the most important things we can give children. Having the tools to learn is what kids need to succeed. Showing these kids we believe in them can help break the cycle. The gift of a full backpack can change a kid’s life!

It is hard to believe almost a year has passed since AZTV7 stuffed over 1,600 backpacks and delivered them to students across our state. Because of our Community’s efforts, Stuff the Bus received Honorable Mention at the National Cynopsis Social Good Awards this year!

Thank you everyone for helping AZTV Channel 7 STUFF THE BUS!
