Below is ADOT’s Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (June 14-17):

  • Eastbound Interstate 10 closed between 83rd and 51st avenues in west Phoenix from 9 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (June 17) for construction of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange. Southbound Loop 101 ramp to eastbound I-10 also closed. Southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Thomas Road and eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 99th and 91st avenues closed. DETOUR: Please allow extra travel time and consider exiting well ahead of closure and using alternate routes. Eastbound Thomas and McDowell roads, as well as Van Buren Street, are local detour routes. Expect heavy traffic. Note: Westbound I-10 HOV lane also closed between 51st and 83rd avenues from 1 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Monday (June 17) for construction vehicle access.
  • US 60 (Superstition Freeway) narrowed to one lane in both directions between Tomahawk Road and milepost 208 (near El Camino Viejo) from 10 p.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday (June 15) for pavement improvements. DETOUR: Please allow extra travel time and use caution in work zones.
  • Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) on-ramp at Elliot Road and southbound off-ramp at Warner Road closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 17) for the widening project.
