Elderly Man Missing at Grand Canyon

Officials are looking for a hiker who went missing at Grand Canyon National Park.

According to the National Park Service, 66-year-old Peter Schwab from Healdsburg, California, was lest seen Friday on a small beach near mile 167, down the river from National Canyon. He is on a river trip and went on a day hike to the Narrows in National Canyon.

Schwab was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, gray cargo shorts, older-style Teva sandals and a tan, full-brim hat.

Anyone who may have seen Schwab or know about his whereabouts is kindly asked to call the National Park Service at 888-653-0009.
