Summer camps, pool time and triple digit heat. It’s all right around the corner, which means now is the time to start planning the family’s summer activities. Tempe offers several affordable, high-quality programs of every interest and ability to keep the kids active all summer long.

The summer edition of the Tempe Opportunities brochure is now available online. Registration for residents will open on Monday, April 22; non-residents can register beginning Monday, April 29. Choose from summer camps, art, dance, special interest, sports, aquatics, health and fitness and boating programs, just to name a few. Most classes begin the first week of June.

Registration can be completed online, by mail or in person at many Tempe community centers. For more information, visit tempe.gov/brochure or call the Recreation Administration Office at 480-350-5200. Hard copies of the brochure are available at most city facilities.
