Now is the time to register a business or corporation to fundraise as part of Arizona Gives Day, a 24-hour online fund-raising event benefiting Arizona’s nonprofits on April 2. For-profit companies or businesses interested in participating in Arizona Gives Day should register at

Businesses of any size can participate in Arizona Gives Day by either creating an Employee Giving Landing Page or a Fundraising Page. An Employee Giving Landing Page is company specific to direct employees to your company’s philanthropic message, encouraging donations on Arizona Gives Day to any participating organization.

Employee Giving will have six different employee-size categories and the company raising the most in each category will win a $1,000 cash prize to donate to a participating nonprofit of their choice. Arizona Gives Day logos and digital graphics will be provided.

Alternatively, businesses can fundraise for a specific nonprofit by creating a Fundraising Page for a single participating nonprofit of interest. All donations will automatically be added to the nonprofit organization’s total giving.

Businesses creating fundraising pages raising over $100 will be eligible for random prize drawings and enable the benefitting nonprofit to potentially receive an additional $500 cash prize. The deadline to submit either page is Wednesday, March 27. For more information and to sign up for either an Employee Giving or Fundraising Page, go to

“Arizona Gives Day has become one of the most impactful and effective ways to support Arizona nonprofits,” said Bryce Lloyd, Phoenix Market President of FirstBank. “Supporting this movement doesn’t just align with our mantra of ‘banking for good’, but it also helps us (and many other Arizonans) create a society that lifts all. We hope other companies and residents get involved, and can help this 24-hour online program become even more beneficial to our charitable community.”

Arizona is home to more than 20,000 nonprofits that provide services we rely on every day. Arizona Gives Day has raised more than $13.4 million since 2013. Arizona Gives Day, which raised $3.2 million in 2018, is hosted by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and the Arizona Grantmakers Forum and presented by FirstBank. Matson Money is a Platinum Sponsor.
