At PlayDay, families can take part in several free activities that will get their legs moving and their hearts pounding. Check out an inflatable obstacle course, climbing wall, sports and kayaking. Other activities like arts, crafts, board games and STEM programs will encourage science and creativity. PlayDay is free to attend and open to all ages.

The Tempe Public Library Youth Librarians will once again host an interactive StoryWalk®. Participants will follow the Summer Supper storybook path while reading and engaging in activities from the book, including planting seeds and digging for worms. The story follows the food cycle from planting and gardening to sharing the bounty with family and friends. Stor yWalk® is a fun and educational way to incorporate literacy and exercise.
Visitors will once again enjoy the Diablo Dash at PlayDay. Sponsored by the , the Diablo Dash is a family-friendly obstacle course that will have you running, crawling, climbing, sliding and laughing all the way to the finish line!
Just for Kids Fishing Festival
Anglers of all ages are invited to west side of Kiwanis Lake between 8 a.m. and noon to try their hand at fishing at the . Anglers United and Arizona Game and Fish will provide everything you need (poles, bait and a little guidance) at no cost during the event.
