Treat the loved ones in your life with some Dutch Bros Luv this Valentine’s Day and you’ll be doing more than making a thoughtful gesture. You’ll also be helping to feed your neighbors in need of food assistance through the East Valley and beyond.
This Valentine’s Day, Dutch Bros Coffee is again donating $1 to United Food Bank for each and every drink sold on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14, at all its valley locations. This annual partnership raises enough funds each year to provide more than 150,000 meals for area residents struggling with hunger.
“United Food Bank and the people we serve are so appreciative of this annual Valentine’s generosity by Dutch Bros Coffee,” says Dave Richins, United Food Bank president and CEO. “With each beverage sold on that special day, they help us provide five meals. The impact adds up quickly. We encourage area residents to add a trip to their nearest Dutch Bros to their Valentine activities.”
United Food Bank celebrates 35 years as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides hunger relief to people in need in the East Valley and Eastern Arizona. They collect, acquire, store and distribute food and related commodities to more than 220 partner agencies that serve more than 228,000 people in need across more than 19,500 square miles. Last year, United Food Bank distributed almost 24 million pounds of food providing nearly 19.5 million meals to our neighbors in need.
The nation’s largest privately owned drive-thru coffee company, Dutch Bros Coffee is renowned for its quick service, quality coffee products and commitment to service. The company has continually demonstrated its commitment to the communities in which it operates since opening its first location in 1992.
