Hundreds of West Valley community members will rally to be a part of the hunger solution through a partnership between Lord of Life Lutheran Church and non-profit Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).
650 volunteers will make a difference by packing more than 132,192 meals with their own two hands in just two days — Friday, February 8 through Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 13724 W Meeker Blvd. in Sun City West.
Volunteers are needed to package food at the event. Sessions are two hours, which includes a 15-minute overview of FMSC’s work around the world and a final wrap-up; volunteers can be age 5 and over. For those who cannot stand for extended periods of time, seated tasks are available.
