Jill Kimmel will be the Emcee of the event, Letitia Frye will host the live auction and Lost Our Home Pet Rescue will present their Pet Champion Excellence Award to the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The award recognizes a person, organization or company that has made an extraordinary contribution to pets in Arizona.
The Brunch is Lost Our Home Pet Rescue’s major annual event, presented this year by Arizona’s Vision, Fred and Jami Pryor Foundation, Dawn Matesi, Jackson Family Foundation, Edward Jones, Fingerpaint, Cactus Valley Realty and Beverly Lolling.
“The brunch is our main fundraiser and an excellent opportunity for old and new friends to learn more about the shelter,” says Jodi Polanski, Lost Our Home Pet Rescue’s Founder and Executive Director. “This year we’re celebrating 10 years of helping people and saving pets. We’re in the midst of a capital campaign to renovate the shelter. It’s an exciting time to get involved and support pets in need.”
Brunch tickets are $85 and tables of 10 are $850. Sponsorships range from $1,000 – $10,000. To purchase tickets online and pre-register for the silent auction visit http://www.lostourhome.org.
About Lost Our Home Pet Rescue
Lost Our Home was founded in 2008 in response to the thousands of pets in need as a result of the economic downturn and the Phoenix-area foreclosure crisis. They are the only shelter in Maricopa County dedicated to rescuing pets abandoned or at risk of homelessness due to pet parents’ life crises such as eviction, domestic violence, job loss and illness. They have helped more than 23,000 pets. They have found new, loving homes for over 5,000 pets, reunited more than 800 pets with families through their Temporary Care Program, and fed 17,500 pets through their Pet Food Bank Program. They also have a partnership with the Sojourner Center, the largest domestic violence shelter in Arizona, in which they operate a pet shelter on their campus so that woman escaping domestic violence can have their pets with them.
