Join the American Lung Association on Saturday, November 17th, 2018, for the 5th annual Lung Force Walk at Mesa Riverview Park to support the funding of key lung cancer research. Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of all Americans and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the third leading cause of death among Americans. Lung Force Walks are a signature fundraising event at the American Lung Association that bring inspiring music and a fun, supportive vibe to the community where friends, neighbors and colleagues can rally together to bring awareness about lung health to everyone. Funds raised support research, advocacy and educational programs at the nonprofit. The family-fun event features a half-mile walk, fun athletic elements and educational tents. All money raised stays in Arizona.
