The Mint Dispensary, one of the top medicinal cannabis operators in Arizona, is celebrating its remodeled and expanded location in Tempe on Friday April 20, after undergoing a $2 million renovation. At 12,000 square feet, The Mint Dispensary in Tempe is now the largest medicinal cannabis facility in the state – it’s four times the size of the next-largest dispensary in Arizona.

Located south of Baseline Road, on Priest Drive, the state-of-the-art Tempe dispensary will also debut the first cannabis kitchen of its kind in the country next month. The new kitchen will offer a complete menu of artisan burgers, pastas, pizza, wings and other delicious cannabis-infused meals that patients can order to go. The recipes were created by a local, classically-trained chef and cancer survivor; she turned to food and nutrition during her own battle and wants to use her knowledge to help others. Along with freshly-made menu items, the new kitchen will have a barista, a juice bar, gelato, and a wide assortment of pastries.

“Our renovation gave us an unprecedented opportunity to push the envelope and redefine the medicinal cannabis dispensary experience,” said Raul Molina, Marketing Director of The Mint Dispensary. “In addition to giving patients in Arizona the widest array of medicinal cannabis products under one roof, we can now provide fresh meals and food options, which is important for seriously ill patients who are turning to medicinal cannabis to address a variety of illnesses, from cancer and epilepsy to Alzheimer’s disease.”

Complementing the soon-to-open kitchen concept, The Mint Dispensary and its 70 employees will continue to deliver upon its well-established reputation for providing high-quality products and personalized services, with more than 5,000 items in-store, including the widest selection of vape cartridges, flower/buds, edibles and concentrates.  Additionally, patients – from the well-meducated to those who need more help navigating the wide variety of medicinal cannabis options – will have a chance to tap the expertise of 25 budtenders, who are among the best and most knowledgeable dispensary experts in Arizona.

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., The Mint Dispensary in Tempe will also feature a robust educational area where patients can participate in free cooking classes, learn more about medical marijuana, and receive health-related information. The dispensary will also host guest speakers and celebrity autograph sessions in this area.

Patients will soon be able to get a first-hand look at The Mint Dispensary’s cultivation process at its Tempe location, as they will be able to see one of the dispensary’s flower growing rooms through a large viewing window. With an eye on further innovation, the dispensary will also open a state-of-the-art extraction lab on site.

The Mint Dispensary in Tempe will celebrate its expansion with a grand renovation party today, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 20, during which it will give away more than $50,000 in products and prizes to patients on-site. Additionally, patients can enjoy free street tacos (which will not be cannabis-infused), sample various strains and delivery methods of medicinal cannabis, and enjoy giveaways throughout the day.
