Duet: Partners In Health & Aging is launching its “Finding Meaning and Hope” video discussion series, in partnership with Pauline Boss, PhD, thanks to a grant from Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. “Finding Meaning and Hope” is a free video and discussion series for family caregivers led by trained volunteers. The Tucson video discussion series will take place Wednesdays beginning on March 28 through June 6 at Casas Adobes Congregational Church.

“The power of the video series is that, each week, through a 20-minute video, Dr. Boss gives caregivers an understanding of their ambiguous loss journey and teaches them the techniques which are crucial to reducing their stress, reclaiming hope and improving their health and well-being,” said Ann Wheat, caregiver services director for Duet. “These groups are all led by trained volunteers and are free-of-charge to the caregivers who attend them.”

While Duet is based in Phoenix, a trained facilitator will be leading the Tucson video discussion series.
