Three Years Later, Family Seeks Justice for Murdered Woman

This photo provided by the Scottsdale Police Department shows Allison Feldman. Police were called Wednesday afternoon after Feldman's boyfriend discovered her body. Sgt. Ben Hoster declined Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, to say whether police have identified a suspect. He said authorities were continuing to withhold many details, including the manner of death and whether there were signs of a break-in, a struggle or items missing from the home. It’s been a difficult three years for the family of Allison Feldman.
The 31-year-old medical sales rep was found murdered in her south Scottsdale home on Feb. 17, 2015. Her death was ruled a homicide from blunt force trauma.
There’s still no suspect in custody, but her loved ones are hoping the individual responsible will finally be found and justice will be served.
Feldman’s family arranged a vigil in remembrance of her on Saturday evening at the Scottsdale courthouse. Those who knew her and loved her gathered with candles for an evening of music and memories to honor Feldman’s life.
Her family members are continuing to share her story in hopes of encouraging others to come forward and provide information that could break the case. Recently, they began raising money for a University of Arizona study abroad scholarship in her name. She studied abroad during college and absolutely loved it. So far, they’ve raised more than $5000 of their $25,000 goal.
While officers collected 433 pieces of evidence from the scene, including her killer’s DNA, they have yet to track down the murderer. According to Scottsdale police, the killer’s DNA is not registered in the system, and they are trying to track him down and establish a motive for the crime.
