Tempe Leadership announces Tempe Cares’ signature annual 1-day event for volunteers devoted to beautifying Tempe’s neighborhoods, schools, and other public spaces and facilities that serve Tempe residents!

Tempe Cares annual community service project will be a City-wide Community Garden Project held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, 8:00 a.m. – noon to benefit and include:

City of Tempe Mobile Community Garden, Ellerton/Wilson Garden, Broadmor Elementary Garden, Clark Park Garden, The Centers for Rehabilitation (TCH), Escalante Garden, and Tempe High School

We invite volunteers from within and outside the community who love, work or play, AND garden in the Tempe community to step forward to show how much they truly care! Volunteers of ALL ages will be accommodated and are encouraged to serve.  A complimentary breakfast will be provided to all volunteers.

Tempe Cares is organized and executed by Tempe Leadership, a committee of the Tempe Chamber Foundation, with hundreds of Tempe residents, employees, students, businesses and other like-minded organizations joining forces each year to improve Tempe.

About Tempe Leadership:

Since 1985, more than 700 diverse, dedicated individuals have participated in the Tempe Leadership program. As a program of and in partnership with the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Foundation, our focus is to bring together community-minded individuals in the community to engage and challenge one another, learn more about the ins and outs of Tempe, and most importantly, make a real difference in our community. Tempe leadership alumni are well-respected on local boards, commissions, routinely serve elected office, and volunteer time and energy to the community.
