Grab your capes, superpowers and bring the whole gang to the Tempe Public Library’s Comicon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Tempe Public Library.

The event encourages reading for all ages by leveraging the popularity of graphic novels and the characters featured in those stories. Our librarians will be on-hand and can recommend age-appropriate graphic novels, books, movies and music for all to enjoy.

The free, family-friendly event is a community collaboration led by library staff. More than 50 local authors and artists, comic store and gaming vendors will participate. There will be panel discussions, live entertainment, children’s activities, shopping, food trucks and more. Be sure to dress up for children, teens, adult and group costume contests.

For a complete list of exhibitors, authors and illustrators, please visit www.tempe.gov/comicon.
