The holidays are upon us again, and that means it’s time for “Christmas at the Princess”, the weeks-long Christmas extravaganza held yearly at the Fairmount Scottsdale Princess in North Scottsdale. “Christmas at the Princess” opens on the resort’s grounds next Wednesday, November 22nd, the night before Thanksgiving. It’s a great signal to kicking off the Christmas holidays here in the Valley.
This AAA Five Diamond Luxury Resort has made “Christmas at the Princess” an unmissable nightly event for singles, couples and families all across the Valley. Every year draws more kids, families, and others to enjoy the spectacle of bright lights, hot chocolate and Christmas music.
The range of exciting Christmas happenings on the Princess resort grounds is remarkable! Here’s a taste:
The bright four-story musical tree which dominates the Fairmount Princess courtyard (aka The Enchanted Plaza). This beautiful tree plays a variety of Christmas songs synced to thousands of twinkling lights. and keeps the photo takers busy all night.
Nightly ice skating (for a fee) on the wonderful 6,000-sq. ft. Desert Ice skating rink. Kids and families can skate around the rink, while friends and families look on from reserved fire-pit tables, with warm or cold drinks to enjoy the night.
Ride the Princess Express train and see all of the magical displays around the Fairmount’s well-lit grounds.
Walk around Lagoon Lights to take in all of the LED light displays, including mermaids, pirate ships, floating swans, a candy cane forest, a fishing Santa Claus and much more!
There’s also a Christmas carousel and other rides for kids, and a joyous campfire to roast your S’Mores (which are sold onsite in an affordable pack for the family).
Bring the kids to see Santa Claus, and meet other friendly costumed characters like Shivers, Graham, Peppermint Penguin and Selfie Elfie. It’s the most fun you’ll have this far south of the North Pole!
Christmas at the Princess is certainly one of the best and brightest places to celebrate the holiday season. Be sure not to miss “Christmas at the Princess, starting next week!
