This is a unique opportunity to join a stellar customer service team. In this union position, the manager will oversee implementation of Safeway’s and Starbucks merchandising programs and be responsible for pricing, displaying, ordering and inventory control. They will supervise department staff and be involved in scheduling, training and assigning duties.
The store manager will need to ensure department standards of presentation and operations are met, such as cleanliness and sanitation, rotation, inventory control, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing and seasonal schematics. Paperwork and product quality are two other essential duties.
Qualifications include high school diploma/GED or relevant work history, demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position, and strong customer service qualities. Candidates must have strong leadership abilities and be highly motivated and team oriented.
Starting salary is $15.35 per hour.
