In the spirit of giving, two Tucson area businesses have partnered to donate 1,000 free turkeys to families.
Residents are invited to attend the event, which will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson (3155 E. Grant Rd) from 1 to 4 p.m.
This generous giveaway will also feature food, entertainment and fabulous giveaways while supplies last. Families can enter for a chance to win a gift certificate for a free range, up to $1,000 value, courtesy of Tucson Appliance and Furniture Co
Did you know that Costco produces 9,000,000 pies during the Thanksgiving season every year? It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie, and that’s why representatives from Costco will be on hand to serve slices of this must-have dessert. They will also offer a special membership incentive for Tucson residents.
For more information about the 1K Gobbler Giveaway please visit the official website at TucsonTurkeys.com or contact Cindy Ernst at (602) 977-1900.

When I was a little girl, I created my own "newspaper" for my neighborhood and spent all my time writing, printing and sending each edition to my loyal subscribers (AKA my family and neighbors!). Now, it's a dream come true to be able to write everyday and have a positive impact on communities through my reporting. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, cook and spend time with my family and friends.
