(Tempe, Ariz) – The public can get its first look at the design for Tempe’s newest fire station at a public meeting, Monday, Oct. 30, 6 – 7 p.m., Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Road in Tempe. Fire Station 7 will be located at the southwest corner of Estrada Park, north of McClintock Drive and Warner Road.
The Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department management staff and representatives from the design firm Arrington Watkins Architect, LLC will give the project presentation and be available to answer questions.
The public can give comment when the station design is on the Design Review Commission agenda, 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth Street
Supporting materials for the project will be posted to the station’s webpage at www.tempe.gov/station7 The station is expected to begin construction as early as spring 2018 concurrently with the Estrada Park improvement project.
