WHY: Dr. Frances Mills-Yerger is founder and Master Facilitator of Workshops for Youth and Families. “Dr. Franny,” as she is known to thousands of youth and adults throughout the Valley, has dedicated her life to enhancing the character of young people through building their resiliency and training them to be tomorrow’s leaders. For more than 39 years, she has presented educational workshops for adolescents, women and families over many parts of the country. Workshop is widely recognized as an award-winning program, with alumni from decades past that credit her and the program with influencing their positive growth to make better life choices.
Dr. Franny is a retired Psychotherapist and holds a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her passion to inspire youth through Workshop’s interactive peer-to-peer mentoring has empowered youth to become everyday leaders and engage in their communities all over the country. This process has left an imprint on over 35,000+ youth and their families.
