Mikes Pike to Close for Road Work

Drives should plan accordingly in the upcoming weeks for a phased road closure of Mikes Pike in Flagstaff.

The closure will begin Tuesday, September 26, allowing for crews to work on road grading and asphalt paving.

To ease commuting concerns, the closure will be completed in two sections, the first from Phoenix Avenue to Cottage Avenue and the second from Benton Avenue to Milton Road.

Drivers should be aware that short-term full road closures may be required for paving and striping. In this case, local traffic will be accommodated during the closure and through traffic will be routed around the construction. Mikes Pike will remain open on weekends for traffic and parking.

The project is slated to finish by Monday, October 9.
