On Friday, March 15, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) at Midwestern University hosted “Match Day” for its 200 graduating medical students. Match Day is when medical students from across the nation open letters simultaneously to see where and if they’ve been matched to a residency, signifying the end of their education and move to a medical professional. These 200 Midwestern University students are the largest group of medical graduates in Arizona, with 100% of the students successfully matching to medical residencies all over the state, across the country, as well as a significant number of military residencies.
