Looking for some weekend entertainment or after-school fun? It’s no secret that the Arizona Science Center boasts imaginative interaction and exciting entertainment, but now, there is even more to enjoy at the downtown Phoenix facility.

The latest exhibition is housed within Create, an innovative space for guests to learn about science, technology, math and art with hands-on experiences and workshops. Kids in Focus will be displayed starting on Friday, April 7.

This inspiring exhibit combined 30 at-risk children and 14 photographers for 6 weeks of realization, insight and creativity. Professional photographers served as mentors to underprivileged youth for a six-week period of exploration and growth. Both parties gained a new perspective on their lives and their surroundings, and now, the result of their hard work will remain on display through June 11.
