
LEGISLATIVE IMPACT – Rep. Don Shooter (R – Yuma, Dist. 13) was recognized by the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) with a 2016 Legislative Session Champions Award. Joining Shooter were (left) AAED’s president, Jennifer Graves, CEcD, economic development manager, Gilbert, Ariz., and Joyce Grossman, AAED’s executive director. Shooter, while serving as a senator in the 2016 session, sponsored a bill that gave money back to the joint technical education districts, seen as a benefit for economic development efforts.
