Apply for additional funding for your passion! The Flagstaff Arts Council is offering grant opportunities for nonprofit arts, culture and/or science organizations in Coconino County, to be awarded for the upcoming fiscal year.
The funding for these grants comes from the City of Flagstaff’s Bed, Board and Beverage (BBB) tax revenues. There are two types of grants available, the first supporting non-profit organizations with a primary focus in the art, culture and/or science fields. The second grant is geared toward non-profit organizations or post-secondary education institutions producing a public program related to arts, culture and/ or science.
The grants are for the fiscal year that begins on July 1, and applications will remain open until the deadline, Thursday, March 30. Interested applicants must submit their applications through Arts Council’s online Community Grants portal at http://flagartscouncil.org/the-arts-council/grants/projects/.
The Arts Council will host a workshop on Thursday, February 16 at 4 pm at the Coconino Center for the Arts in Flagstaff. This workshop is required for all participants and will present a Guide to Art & Science Fund Grants.
