Teachers in the Bisbee and Naco School Districts are invited and encouraged to apply for Love of Learning Grants.
The applications for the funding are due soon, on December 1. The grant is provided by the Bisbee Foundation, which celebrates the historical, cultural and human qualities that set Bisbee apart from other communities and makes it a unique place to live. The Bisbee Foundation plays an important role in the community, using generous donations to fund its grants and scholarships, as well as it’s programs in areas such as culture, arts and humanities, education, environmental improvement and historic preservation
Teachers can use the $250 Love of Learning Grant for special projects, materials, or tools to help students succeed in their daily classroom work. The money can go a long way in making a positive difference in the classroom, providing teachers and students with additional resources to aid in learning and success. With last year’s grants, some teachers purchased classroom Kindles to help with reading activities in the classroom.
Teachers can apply now atĀ https://www.bisbeefoundation.com/mini-grants. Teachers for grades kindergarten through 12 are eligible to apply, and at least five Love of Learning Grants will be awarded. The funds will be awarded and available on December 9.
