One of the things that I used to cherish in life was to walk to collect the morning newspaper in the driveway, bushes or under the car each morning.  More than the state, national and world news I wanted to know what was going on in my community. Unfortunately over the years my cherished “community section” began including content from other Arizona cities that I did not identify with.

Perhaps naive I decided to start and electronic newsletter that focused solely on what was going on in my hometown which is Tempe, Arizona.   Thus Tempe Thoughts was hatched in 2010. One of the great rewards of the internet is to find out you are not alone in your quest for relevant and engaging information. Thus Tempe Thoughts evolved into our current publication My Local News.US.  A platform by which we utilize professional reporters and article contributors to keep our readers in the know as to what is happening in their city or town.  Currently we cover 22+ Arizona Communities but hope to expand into other states in the near future.

We hope you will join us on this grand adventure.  We are looking for editors, authors, contributors and of course subscribers who find our weekly newsletter informative and perhaps a good read.  Thank you for your contributions to making local news fun and interesting again.
