A Taste of Greece is back and better than ever! This annual event is returning to Chandler on the weekend of September 30th, offering Greek food, dance and fun for all! With traditional tasty treats fit for the Gods, Greek imports, live Greek music, costumed folk dancing, a fun zone for the kids and much more, this is a celebration you don’t want to miss!
For this one weekend, St. Katherine Greek Orthodox transforms into a mini “Greek Village”, blending together the historical ancient times of Greek culture with today’s Modern Age in a classic celebration of heritage and community. All proceeds from the event benefit the Church and it’s related philanthropic activities and community charities. For more information on St. Katherine and the work it does in the community, visit https://www.st-katherine.org/index.htm
The festival is a wonderful chance for non-Greeks to learn more about the culture and enjoy the array of activities! With a reasonable $3.00 admission fee, this is a great chance for the whole family to come out and experience Greece without leaving the Valley.
St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church is located at 2716 N. Dobson Chandler 85224, just south of Elliot & Dobson. The festival will be open Friday September 30th from 5 pm to 10 pm, Saturday October 1st, 11 am-10 pm, and Sunday, October 2nd, from 11 am to 7 pm.
