Vice Mayor Luna Hosts Heart Your Health Expo

Vice Mayor David Luna will host his annual Heart Your Health fitness and wellness expo at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center, located at 7550 E. Adobe, on Saturday, Feb. 11. The free event will run from 8 a.m. to noon and will feature free fitness classes, an informational expo and a free breakfast.

“I look forward to this event each and every year,” Vice Mayor Luna said. “The opportunity to exchange exercise tips and share ways to live healthy with your neighbors helps strengthen our community and encourage a healthy lifestyle.”

All attendees are invited to participate in free fitness classes including Zumba, Yoga, Power Step, Pilates and Cycling. The first class will begin at 8:10 a.m. and the last one will begin at 11:30 a.m.

In addition to the fitness classes, participants can also climb the rock wall or visit the Health and Wellness Expo. The Wellness Expo will be held in the gym and feature information from fitness coaches, Blue Cross Blue Shield Get Fit bags, the Mesa Fire and Medical Department, a massage therapist and more. A healthy breakfast will also be served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the gym.
